Nicknamed 'Gottesgab' meaning 'God's Gift', Goldscope Mine in Newlands Valley dates back to the Elizabethan period. Explore this disused tunnel with your family complete with helmets and headtorches and get a taste of the life and work of the miners, learning about the history and geology of this spectacular local copper and lead mine.  An exciting adventure which will stretch your comfort zone!
